Grandma's House

Evan's been whipping up some pretty tasty spritzers in the past few weeks that we are bottling and carbonating on site. They were inspired by Jeffrey Morgenthaler, a Portland based bartender who is considered one of the pre-eminent bartenders in the world at the moment.

The most popular of the Spritzers has been the aptly named Grandma's House.

The ingredients in Grandma's house include - Finsbury overproof London dry gin (clean and classic), Fernet-Branca (an Italian digestive that's a bartender's favourite), Drambuie (dusty old fella best known for appearing in a Rusty Nail)  and St-Germain (another bartenders favourite, fragrant and delicious elderflower based liquer)

After carbonating filtered water, all the ingredients are mixed and funnelled into bottles.

A bottle caps applied and it's ready to be chilled.

And here's the finished product. It's delicious as a lunch sipper or a pre/post meal digestive.
